ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Yogyakarta
On arrival in Yogya, pick-up and transfer to the hotel. (B)
Day 2: Free day in Yogya
Opportunity to explore downtown Yogya (Sultan's Palace, water castle, museums,
markets etc.). Optional fun city-tour on becak (rickshaws). Option to attend a
Ramayana ballet performance in the evening. (B)
Day 3: Borobodur temple and Merapi volcano.
After breakfast, we begin the full day trip. visit Borobudur temple and Mount
Merapi. afternoon back to hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 4: Train ride to East Java, transfer to the Tengger volcano (Bromo)
Scenic train ride to Malang town, lunch. Enter into the Tengger caldera via an
impressive route on open jeeps to enjoy the dramatic landscape of deep valleys
and steep cliffs. (B, L, D)
Day 5: Bromo volcano
Relaxed day to explore Bromo volcano and the Tengger caldera. (B, D)
Day 6: Sunrise excursion to overview of Bromo - rainforest of the
National Park - observation of Semeru volcano Sunrise from the famous viewpoint
overlooking the Bromo-Tengger caldera. Jeep ride to Semeru's south side and
observation camp (Semeru volcano). (B, L, D)
Day 7: Transfer to Ijen volcano
Transfer to Ijen Plateau, coffee plantations, hot bath in nearby natural hot
volcanic springs. (B, L, D)
Day 8: Kawah Ijen volcano - transfer to Bali
Climb and visit of Ijen's crater, descend to the sulphur mining area and the
turquoise acid crater lake. In the afternoon transfer to Bali. (B, L, D)
Day 9: End of tour or extension program on Bali. (B)

Cultural Tour
YOGYA CITY TOUR
Sultan Palace was built in 1756 and located in the heart of Yogyakarta. This
place has function as king residence, cultural and tourism object. The place
lies alongside from the north to he south with total wide 1,5 kilometers. Water
Castle was built in 1761 by King Mangkubumi and relief was combination among;
Europe, China, Hindhu, Budha and Islam. The place has function as pleasure
garden since Sultan HB I-III and the are three swimming pools are: For king, his
wife and his children. Ngasem Bird Market : is located only 400 meters west of
Sultan Palace and believed as the oldest bird market in Indonesia was found in
19 century. Market displays is not only many kind of bird but also among pets
like: Rabbit, dog, cat, bat, snake etc.
2.BOROBUDUR TOUR
Borobudur Temple is the greatest budhist monument which last time was known as
one of the world’s wonders and located in he north west of Yogyakarta around 42
kilometers. Borobudur was built in 8 century and 400 years before the greatest
cathedral in Europe and 300 years before Angkor Vat in Camboja. Pawon Temple is
located 1.750 meters in the east of Borobudur monument and built in the
beginning 9 century. According to archeological expert Pawon temple is cemetery
of King Indra. Mendut Temple is located three kilometers east of Borobudur
monument and built by King Indra. It was built in the beginning 8 century and be
estimated older than Borobudur monument.
3.PRAMBANAN TEMPLE TOUR
Prambanan Temple is located in the east of Yogyakarta around 17 kilometers and
the most beautiful hindhu temple in Indonesia. The temple was built in 9 century
and there are 16 temples still complete and 224 perwara temples in ruins. The
first time was found in 1733 and had been renovated by Indonesia government.
4.DIENG PLATEAU TOUR
Pendawa Temple is the oldest hindhu temple in Java island was built in 7 century
and consist of 5 temples in the complex and 3 more separated. Pendawa temples
has function as place of ceremony from 8-13 century. Color Lake is located one
kilometer from pendawa temple and actually former crater of volcano. It has
content any kind of mineral and sulphur such as : White [lime], yellow [sulphur]
and green [mud]. Sikidang Crater : is located one kilometer from color lake and
the most active crater at Dieng Plateau area. Its always keep moving from one
place to another, therefore local people mention it as Si Kidang [Deer].
5.S0L0 TOUR
Mangkunegaran Palace was built in the end 18 century by prince Mangkubumi II.
This building was constructed in the Joglo style of tradional Javanese
architecture. Since 1968 the building had been opened as tourist object. Radya
Pustaka Museum formerly as the center for Javanese cultural study and built in
1890 by Javanese noblemen from Kasunanan palace of Surakarta namely :
Sosrodiningrat IV. Visitor can see collection of wooden and leather puppet,
weapon, kris, Javanese music instrument, Budha and hindhu statue. Triwindu Flea
Market is located 400 meters south of Mangkunegaran palace and only authentic
flea market in Central Java. Many thing to see or buy like: Chinese porcelen,
Mataram kris, statue, bronze, copper etc.
6.IMOGIRI ROYAL CEMETERY TOUR
Imogiri Royal Cemetery is located in the south east of Yogyakarta around 17
kilometers. It was built by Sultan Agung in 1565 and consist of two cemeteries
are : Cemetery for kings of Solo and cemetery for kings of Yogyakarta. Some
foreign ambassador for Indonesia had been here such as: From Japan, England and
Germany. On Tuesday and Friday kliwon night many people gather and pray in the
hope their dream will come true.
Trekking Tour
1.BOROBUDUR TREKKING TOUR
Early in the morning we drive you to Suroloyo hill located in the north west of
Yogyakarta around 45 kilometers. Before arriving at location we stop on the way
to catch sunrise and after stopping at view point [900 meters above sea level]
we trek down passing hill, dried rice field, house of villagers. Borobudur is
our next destination before continuing to another small Budhis temple are :
Pawon and Mendut temple.
2.PRAMBANAN TREKKING TOUR
In the afternoon we drive you to the south of Prambanan temple around 17
kilometers from Yogyakarta. We trek on the hill of thousand mountain range where
sand stone come from. We walk and surrounded by mostly teak tree, the strongest
and expensive wood in Indonesia. Stop for a moment at Barong hindhu temple and
look at beautiful panorama at view point. Prambanan temple is our last stopping
in this trip.
3.PRAMBANAN & BOKO SUNSET TREKKING TOUR
In the afternoon we go first to Prambanan temple and then proceed trekking up to
Boko hill. On the way we meet local people and their activities, house of
villagers and their cattle. Arriving at Boko hill explore ruin of palace and
look at panorama from view point. This is the best place in Yogyakarta to see
sunset, because is located in he altitude around 900 meters above sea level.
4A.DIENG PLATEAU TREKKING TOUR : WITH SUNRISE
In the morning we leave Yogyakarta and after arriving at Dieng Plateau, we take
a rest in the simple hotel to keep our stamina for tomorrow. The next day, early
in the morning we trek up to the hill “Sikunir” to catch sunrise. We are in
2.300 meters above sea level and thus place is highest one in Central Java. Next
our destination are: Color Lake, Sikidang crater and Pendowo temple.
4B.DIENG PLATEAU TREKKING TOUR : WITHOUT SUNRISE
In the morning we leave Yogyakarta to reach Dieng plateau is located 137
kilometers. Driving away for four hours and beautiful panorama enjoyable all
long the road. We trek up the hill looking at color and mirror lake where only
few tourist know this path. We are standing as if in the heaven and surrounded
by terraces and plantation like: cabbage, potatoes, bean and carrot. Proceed to
Pendawa temple is the oldest hindhu temple in Java island was built in 7
century. Last but not least is visit Sikidang crater the active crater in this
area. By looking it we imagine it is real hell in the earth.
5.MERAPI VOLCANO TREKKING
TOUR
In the evening we drive for two hours to Selo village, the last village is
located in the north of Merapi volcano. This is easiest and save place one to
trek up. In the middle in the night start to trek up and early in the morning we
arrive in the top to see sunrise. Four hours trekking up and 3,5 hours trekking
down, you should prepare your stamina as good as possible before doing it.
6.MERAPI RAIN FOREST TREKKING TOUR
In the morning we depart to the slope of Merapi volcano around 25 kilometer
north of Yogyakarta. We trek up to Kalikuning hill where many kind of flora and
fauna can be found. We stop for a moment at house of Merapi volcano keeper guard
[ Mbah Marijan] for taking a rest before continuing look at cold lava. Next
program visit Japanese cave.
7.SOLO, SUKUH & TAWANGMANGU TREKKING TOUR
Driving to the east of Yogyakarta around two hours we will reach Solo to visit
Mangkunegaran palace. Next trip is visit Sukuh “Erotic” temple is located in the
slope of mount Lawu. From here we start to trek for two hours by passing pine
forest, hill, house of villager and finally arrive at Tawangmangu waterfall.
8.JUNGLE TREKKING TOUR
In the morning we drive you to Kaliurang resort around 25 kilometers north of
Yogyakarta. We trek up to Kalikuning and Plawangan hill via jungle where many
kind of flora and fauna can be found. We will pass Plunyam dan where movement of
cold lava hampered by “Sabo” technique. Finally we will stop at the view point
to see Yogyakarta city from the hill.
